Annual Review and Plan for Regional Councils

This new resource enables Regional Council members to reflect on how they are working as a Regional Council and consider how they might be more effective. The review and planning focusses on these 5 areas:

A. Living our Mission
B. Relationships
C. Learning and Development (including Spirituality and Resources)
D. Member Growth and Expansion
E. Regional Council Meetings

The document has ready to use templates, examples, a spiritual reflection and details about facilitating the meeting.

Here are all the documents you need:
1. Annual Review and Plan for Regional Councils 2017 which provides the complete plan for the facilitator with Appendices.
2. Preplanning survey which is a preparatory document for all participants.
3. Ready to Print Feedback sheets. Provides the space to write the strengths participants identify in Step 2. They are ready to print on to A3 paper.
4. Alternative Spiritual Reflection

If you have any questions about the Resource, its distribution, or facilitating a Review and Planning session, please contact Kate Scholl at the State Support Office.

Here is some feedback from the Evans Regional Council following their session in Oberon in February 2017.

“The feedback from members has been most positive about the Regional Council Review and Planning session. All who attend found it enjoyable and productive. It was a boost for us to review our strengths and share ideas of what we could do. We now have a plan of action for the year which several members have committed to follow through on.”Christine O’Mahony, Evans Regional Council President
