As supporters of the Uluru Statement, how should we respond to the Interim Voice Report?

Join our webinar on March 9, from 12pm-1.15pm, to learn more.

The Uluru Statement from the Heart sets out three key elements of reform, one of which is a Voice to Parliament enshrined in the constitution. The Australian Government is now running a co-design process to decide what a Voice might look like. As supporters of the Uluru Statement, how should we respond?

Run in partnership with the Indigenous Law Centre at UNSW, this webinar will provide an overview of the Interim Voice Report and the case for constitutional change. Associate Professor Sean Brennan and Professor Gabrielle Appleby will contextualise the current process and the proposals being put forward for discussion. Together, we’ll reflect on the opportunity this presents to answer the Uluru Statement’s invitation to walk ‘in a movement of the Australian people for a better future’.
