Sydney Water Payment Assistance Scheme (PAS)

Are people having difficulties paying their water bill during the current COVID19 crisis due to loss of income? Sydney Water may be able to assist.

Their qualified case managers provide holistic solutions for customers experiencing affordability issues. They offer direct financial support through their Payment Assistance Scheme (PAS). They also aim to improve customer’s financial wellbeing, inclusion and resilience by referring customers to external services based on their needs.

This may include referrals to other agencies for other types of help including:

  • emergency relief
  • financial counselling
  • personal counselling
  • advocacy
  • housing
  • NILS
  • EAPA

Eligibility Criteria is specific to:

  • owner occupiers who do not own more than one property
  • private tenants with NSW Lease Agreement
  • properties must be individually metred.
