2025 Vinnies Voices Member & Volunteer Survey Results

The 2025 Member and Volunteer Survey reflected a year of strong progress, record engagement, and growing confidence across the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW. With 2807 responses – our highest participation to date – the survey provided valuable findings and insights across aspects such as communication, collaboration, recognition, and connection to our mission.

In 2025, survey results showed meaningful improvement across nearly every measure. Communication returned the most notable improvement, with 73% of members feeling better informed, followed by 83% reporting positive collaborative experiences working with members, volunteers, and employees.

These gains reflect our efforts over the past year, including the introduction of a print-friendly accessible version of The Vincentian, the launch of the MAVS database, and advocating for more direct and consistent statewide communication. The results demonstrate that targeted initiatives have been resonating and delivering measurable impact.

The survey affirmed our strong foundations while also highlighting opportunities to keep strengthening our communication and recognition practices as we continue building on the progress already made. Our members also continue to tell us how meaningful their involvement is, with satisfaction again exceeding 90% - reflecting the deep impact of their work, the sense of purpose it brings, and the steady support they receive from their Conference Presidents. As we take onboard the insights from the 2025 survey, we will continue building on our current momentum to refine the clarity, consistency and reach of our work to ensure we’re able to meet the needs of our community and also celebrate the outstanding members and their contributions.
