ABC Gives is a month-long campaign encouraging ABC audiences to support a chosen charity. Vinnies NSW have been lucky enough to be selected as the recipient charity for ABC NSW.
Throughout November, Vinnies NSW has been promoted across ABC online, TV and radio. The ABC have interviewed some of our valued volunteers across services, programs and retail, who have shared their stories of volunteering at Vinnies, including their engagement highlights and motivations for supporting others in their community.
On November 30th there will be a Day of Giving, where ABC presenters will give audiences the chance to get involved to raise much-needed funds for Vinnies NSW. It is hoped the ABC Gives campaign will raise an astonishing $300,000 for Vinnies NSW.
