The opening of our first recycling and retail depot in Newtown in 1922 was revolutionary in a growing movement of charitable community assistance and is proudly now the longest operating thrift shop in Australia.

Over 100 years later, we approach a new opportunity for our network of over 220 shops as we prepare to launch the first Vinnies online shop in the first quarter of 2025.

Customers will visit Vinnies’ online shop to discover items from a cleverly curated range of over 20,000 great value men’s, women’s and youth fashion finds, accessories and other items. The online shop will offer shoppers a modern user experience and will feature a refreshed retail brand identity which highlights how shopping at Vinnies supports the critical work of the Society.

Growing the network of Vinnies Shops physically and online creates more opportunities for everyone to contribute to supporting the Society’s mission, with expanded convenience, range, and accessibility.
