More than 41,000 people in Australia work in modern slavery conditions, according to estimates from the Global Slavery Index (GSI).   

These unjust conditions include forced labour, debt bondage, deceptive recruiting for labour or service and the worst forms of child labour.  

Peter Houweling, NSW State Council President, recently launched the Society’s latest Modern Slavery Statement.
