MAVS Roadshow Coming to Town!

Starting from late August, employees from the Membership, Volunteers and Early Intervention team will be travelling around NSW to introduce members and volunteers to the new Members and Volunteers System.

As many of you will already be aware, MAVS is a new website for members and volunteers that replaces the old NSW members and volunteers website, plus provides a one stop place where you can complete your training and update your personal details.

The roadshow will consist of a two-hour session including a live demonstration of the site and its key functionalities.

It will kick off in Bathurst region, followed by Tamworth, Inverell, Armidale and Narrabri in September and will continue through to the end of October stopping at various locations in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Newcastle, Parkes and Forbes. It will continue on to Wagga, Wollongong and Lismore Central Councils in the new year.

Members and volunteers who attend will be invited to explore the website to get a first-hand look at the resources, training modules and other content, and employees will be on hand to answer questions. We encourage participants to bring along their own laptops or devices.

Morning tea will be provided and there’ll be plenty of opportunity for discussion and for members and volunteers to get to know each other.

We look forward to meeting members and volunteers across all of the Central Council regions.
