Since the launch of the new MAVS website in June last year, our team has been travelling across New South Wales to connect directly with members and volunteers as part of the ongoing MAVS roadshow, and more recently, adding the consultation for CAMS.

MAVS is the Member and Volunteer website, where you can access up-to-date news, documents, training modules and other content.

During the session, staff members will be on hand to answer questions and to help you sign-in for the first time. We encourage participants to bring along their own laptops, phones or iPad/tablet devices. So far, we have held information sessions in 24 locations across the state, with 7 more sessions still to come.

We have been fortunate to meet 362 attendees, made up of 235 members and 127 volunteers. These sessions have been an invaluable opportunity to gather feedback, answer questions, and support our members and volunteers with the latest updates on MAVS and CAMS.

 The recent inclusion of the consultation for CAMS alongside the MAVS roadshow has been successfully delivered at 5 of the 24 recent sessions. For locations missed during the initial MAVS roadshow, we plan to return and deliver the CAMS consultation to ensure no one misses out. The CAMS consultation topics include: it’s implementation and benefits, redefined reporting methods, privacy and record management, and the introduction of a survey so we can receive your feedback.

Over the next six weeks, we will continue this journey with visits to the West and North West regions. We know there are still some areas we have yet to visit. Rest assured, we will be heading back out later in the year to reach the locations we have missed.

We have been truly grateful for all the warm welcomes and invaluable feedback we received throughout the roadshow. Whether it’s been through questions, suggestions, or simply shared stories, we enjoyed meeting so many of you in person and hearing how MAVS and CAMS are making a difference.
