Vinnies Wyong attended the Volunteering Central Coast awards held at Erina. Vinnies Wyong attends this award each year because it’s important to recognize & appreciate the time, skills, and experience every volunteer brings to the organisation.
This year, Bradley Dingle, the Wyong VSC coordinator, Peter Turner, a Warnervale Conference member and Wyong VSC Volunteer, and Lisa Kingdom, the Entrance Conference President, were in attendance.
Vinnies Wyong were told by Volunteer Central Coast that Vinnies Wyong was a finalist in the group category.
To their surprise & their absolute proud moment, Wyong Vinnies Support Centre won the group category & we received the Dream Team Award & a Box of Lindt chocolates, which was presented to us by local MP Adam Crouch.
The following day, Tuesday, June 18th, Vinnies VSC coordinator Bradley set up the award with the chocolates on the kitchen table at Wyong VSC for the volunteers and members to see and enjoy their win.
As Wyong Support Centre Coordinator, I’m very proud of my team and all their achievements, as well as the teamwork they display each day in supporting each other and the many clients we assist.
