New People and Culture Board Committee Member
The St Vincent de Paul Society NSW is calling for expressions of interest from qualified individuals to join its People and Culture Committee. The People and Culture Committee plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation. The People and Culture Committee is looking for individuals with experience in organisational culture, human resource management, membership and volunteer engagement, training and development, and workplace health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and Monitor: Oversee the Society's culture, Code of Conduct, and membership engagement strategies.

Advise and Support: Provide guidance on volunteer engagement, remuneration strategies, and human resources policies.

Evaluate and Improve: Assess employee performance programs, training, and leadership development initiatives.

Ensure Compliance: Monitor workplace health and safety measures and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
The Society is looking for individuals who are leaders, ethical, effective communicators, team players, and innovative thinkers. This voluntary role requires a commitment of approximately one day per meeting, with meetings held at least four times a year.
