Is your conference looking for a new Special Work?
Introducing the Vincentian Pastoral Care Program to pilot in Sydney Archdiocese Central Council
We need at least two Conferences to support this special work to put forward 1-2 members who will be available during day times to offer a unique caring opportunity.
Our Pastoral Care Program is looking to be established at Woolloomooloo at the Ozanam Learning Centre and the Matthew Talbot Hostel. Extending our membership’s care to those who receive support from our Vinnies Services.
Members involved with the Vincentian Pastoral Care Program will be engaged as volunteers at these services with Vincentian badges indicating you are part of Pastoral Care and are available to give companionship, compassion and a listening ear.
A welcome session will be made available and ongoing support and training available to support all members who are interested.
Frederic Ozanam had a desire to embrace the world in a network of charity… and said within this network that “Yours must be a work of love, of kindness, you must give your time, your talents, yourselves”
We are inspired by our Founders words to add this pastoral approach to our services.
Conference Presidents: If you would like the Mission & Formation team to come to one of your meetings to give more details please contact us.
All members: if you are interested in committing to this please also contact us

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
