The Society is committed to being a Child Safe Organisation and continually assessing and evaluating its Child Safe strategies to ensure that we are vigilant in our work to support and protect children and young people (under 18 years).

The Society is currently working towards compliance with the NSW Child Safe Standards, and Catholic Professional Safeguarding Standards. This will be a journey that will involve all areas of the Society adopting a Child Safe Lens in all that we do. This will include several changes as we move towards making our organisation more Child Safe and more child-focused.

The implementation of the 10 Child Safe Standards within the Society is led by the Safeguarding Team (Strategy and Governance Directorate) in collaboration with all areas of the business.
