The Order of Australia honours Australian citizens and others for outstanding achievement and service. We would like to congratulate our members who have been recognised in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours list and received the medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), recognising their significant service to the community and social welfare organisations. This is a well-deserved acknowledgment of the significant time and commitment they have dedicated to the work of the Society in NSW and, ultimately, the people we assist.

Rental Assistance: An Information Guide
The Society’s Mission and Spirituality team have developed a suite of resources to help members reflect on the Uluru Statement.
The NSW Election, to be held on March 25, is fast approaching. This is the opportunity for Conference Members to raise our voice for housing justice – to remind the sitting members and candidates of our local electorates as well as the local community about the desperate circumstances a growing number of people we assist are facing.
Members of the Nepean Region came together to organise a fabulous a Christmas lunch and party for the residents of St Vincent de Paul Society Social and Affordable Housing (managed by Amelie Housing) in Penrith.
Recently, State Council President, Paul Burton, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Paul will be greatly missed and leaves a wonderful legacy of compassion, healing, prayerfulness and companionship.
